LAURA ESQUIVEL

Laura Esquivel lives in Mexico. Like Water for Chocolate is her first novel. Originally a screenwriter, she also written the screenplay for the film based on this book. Her screenplay "Chido One" was nominated for the best screenplay "Ariel" Award by the Mexican Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences.
